The wider world
St Paul's Church is a community of people who are on a journey together.....
a journey into an increasing sense of and response to God's call upon our lives. What this means is that hopefully we are becoming increasingly willing to accept one another, love our neighbours, both those on our doorstep and those further afield and participate in building the new Jerusalem here on earth. We seek to reflect God's image and be the broken yet blessed body of Christ distributed in and for the world, to demonstrate our love for him and be a sign of his universal grace towards all people. How successful we are, of course, is very difficult to say, and often it is the visitor who is the best judge but this is our prayerful ambition.
