Georgian Choral singing is one of the wonders of the world’s folk polyphonic traditions. It is a rich and varied singing tradition stretching back to the pre-Christian era.

Come and experience singing the wonderful resonant harmonies of Georgian song taught by a leading Georgian ethnomusicologist who teaches all over the world. During the workshop, we will have the opportunity to sing several Georgian songs. Joseph is well known as a warm and generous teacher who welcomes those less confident about their singing as well as more experienced singers. The ability to read sheet music is helpful as sheet music will be used - but it is not essential.
