17 JULY: DAY TWO ACCORDING TO THE ST PAUL'S CALENDAR
The 85 year old grand piano was escorted off the premises - legless - along with the 100 year old Broadwood. 100 of the pink chairs went into in storage before heading to St Mary's church in Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire. The internal porch at the entrance was knocked down and sold to a local carpenter for a knock-down price. Music for Little People bought a couple of oak panels. As the sun set in the west, we looked at tiles for the floor of the new chapel. Two days into the project, there have inevitably been differences of opinion. But we retained our good humour (ish) and went home happy. Tomorrow is another day. Another exciting day.
