CAMBRIDGE FOODCYCLE ONE YEAR LATER
It's roughly one year since Cambridge FoodCycle launched its weekly community lunch at the Centre. Local MP Julian Huppert attended this week's lunch, which was delicious as usual. Much of the conversation (or at any rate a bit of it) centred on the weather and the prospect of being snowed in within the next 24 hours. Suffice it to say, the 4 course menu warmed up 25 hungry souls on one of the coldest Cambridge days in living memory (except for those of you who can remember 1947 and 1962). Will it snow? Will the Cam freeze over? Will there be a FoodCycle lunch next Saturday? Affirmative Houston.
Today's menu
Onion soup
Onion bread
Veggie toad in the hole
Veggie tortillas
Carrot and celery salad
Apple crumble
Fresh fruit salad
