MORE RUBBISH FROM THE CENTRE AT ST PAUL'S
We have bins on the street just behind the garden wall. Originally, they were for cigarette packets, bus tickets, empty vodka bottles and cans of extra strong lager - everything the good burgers of Cambridge lob over the wall and into the garden. Now they're full of boxes from Domino's Pizza, Subway wrappers and Costa Coffee cups. And in recent weeks they've been home to bagloads of takeaway containers full of chicken bones and stir fry vegetables. We're not just talking about aesthetics. There's a public health issue here. If you've been dumping your domestic waste in our bins, stop now. The feds are on the case. Your collar will be felt.
