ANNUAL THURSDAY GROUP TRIP TO NORWICH

A fairly inauspicious start: we missed the 10 12 on which we planned to travel. We'd forgotten that our annual Norwich trip coincides with the Varisty rugby match, so the queues for tickets at Cambridge station were long. It took a whole hour and much coffee before we could take our seats on the train and tuck into our egg sandwiches. Having arrived in Norwich, we took in the usual sights: the cathedral (and the cathedral shop), Oxfam, Elm Hill and the market. As usual, whatever the wevver for the four years we've made the trip, we had a great day with a real Christmas feel. Particular thanks to Gail, Sharon and Mary, without whom ....
