WE WENT TO CLACTON ON SEA ... AND IT WAS GOOD

IMG6758

Another trip instead of lunch at the Centre. 17 souls (or rather bodies) packed into a minibus with cheese sandwiches (with Branston pickle), ham sandwiches and Michael Beckett's legendary egg maynonnaise. Plus a selection of pork pies. We always have good weather on our trips  - so it was no surprise that the sun shone. It was 77 degrees Fahrenheit whatever that is in new money. Fact: there are 10 charity shops in Clacton on Sea. Fact: some of us went in all of them. We also did the pier, the beach, fish and chips (very average) and pot of tea for one for £1.65. JQ drove, Sharon navigated. Vinnie, Andy's guide dog, misbehaved but no-one really noticed.
