WAITROSE TRUMPINGTON COMMUNITY MATTERS feat. The Centre
  
Supermarket chain Waitrose launched its Community Matters scheme in 2008, since when it has allocated £1,000 a month to each of its 190 branches to distribute amongst local community projects. Waitrose customers nominate worthy causes and three charities are chosen each month. Shoppers decide the percentage each receives by putting green tokens in the in-store Community Matters box. This month’s charities at Waitrose, Trumpington include the Centre at St Paul’s. Any money we receive will be spent on trips for the Thursday Group and/or Saturday Family Fun days for the under 8s at the Centre.
