THURSDAY GROUP TRIP ON WEDNESDAY

Another Thursday group trip, this time on a Wednesday. Doesn't make sense. And the wrong Wednesday at that, but that's another story involving the vicar's diary, internal communication between members of staff and a cast of thousands. Destination: Mountfichet castle to which none of us had ever been, although we have all seen the brown signs on the motorway. It rained all day but our spirits were not dampened by the meteorological inclemency. The toy museum was outstanding. Some of our number posed with a hairy new friend (see below) while others enthused about the dinosaurs or simply fed the turkeys. Another good day was had by all. Next trip: Thursday 10 December to Norwich.
