New floor for Upper Hall

When the Centre was created twelve years ago, a sprung Kahrs floor was installed in the Upper Hall. Maintenance of the floor has always been problematic, not least because of differing opinions about the best form of treatment. Cleaning with water or any form of liquid is nort advisable but neither is buffing with wax. The floor had been sanded twice and revarnished three times but by this summer it was looking distinctly tired and emotional. We therefore decided to instal a new Kahrs floor  and with the help of a substantial grant from WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd)  the work has now been completed. The new floor was fitted by The Cambridge Flooring Company Limited.
