ZAMBULA were originally formed as a ten piece in
West Cornwall in the 1980's when Ugandan singer and percussionist Tito teamed up with the Israeli singer Wendy Herman and conga player Demelza Val Baker. From the start this was an exciting dance band that soon got their audiences dancing to original material written by Tito and Wendy. Starting off by playing private parties, the band soon progressed to becoming one of the South Wests biggest drawing bands, playing all the main venues throughout Devon and
Cornwall . They became regulars at the regions main festivals such as St Ives, Hood Fayre, Elephant Fayre and have been a permanent fixture at
Glastonbury for over two decades.

1. Ugandan Matoke - chicken curry with mashed plantains
2. Ghanaian beef palaver [ beef stewed with egusi - pumpkin seed paste ]
3. Chicken drumsticks
4. Fumbwa [ Congolese spinach with peanut butter ]
5. Kenyan potato and sweetcorn curry
6. Zanzibar beans in coconut sauce
7. Irio - Kenyan potatoes mashed with sweetcorn and kidney beans
8. Tanzanian chickpeas in spiced coconut sauce
9. Crunchy salad
10. Rice
