Wakey Wakey

The Centre at St Paul's prides itself on many things. Such as bringing people together. People and ...er things. They may not qualify for the Guinness Book of Records but these may well be the very first photographs of a laptop in meaningful communion with a dishwasher. Has technology overtaken the world as we know it? Are human beings completely redundant? Remember HAL the computer in "2001: a Space Odyssey"? The jury is out on these and many other issues de nos jours. Apparently - so they say - the idea was to record the swish and swoosh of the dishwasher for the backing track of one of Syd Barrett's songs.  That was the idea. A likely story. And while we're on the subject, is that the real Simon Gunton? That Paul Herrington looks decidedly iffy to me. Remember "Invasion of the Bodysnatchers"?  And the pods?  Who are these people? And how do we know? Maybe David Icke was right about the lizards. To be continued ... if the aliens let us. They're coming to take me away Ha Ha Ho Ho ...
